Our customers frequently ask:
At what age can my teen take the learner's permit test?
In Missouri, a person can get a learner's permit (Instruction Permit) at age 15, This is the first step in the state's Graduated Driver License (GDL) program, requiring passing vision, road sign, and written tests, plus parental consent, before applying at a license office for the actual permit.
How should my child study for the permit test?
We recommend that the student study both the Missouri Driver Guide, obtained at any Missouri Driver Exam Station, and take practice tests, obtained online from the Missouri Department of Revenue (dor.mo.gov) or any third-party websites with practice tests and detailed explanations.

How do I schedule lessons with your company?
Please navigate to our contact page and submit your complete contact information and a message using the provided form. Alternatively, you can call or text our company phone number. We typically respond within 24 to 48 hours.
Why is lesson FOUR (parking and required test maneuvers) mandatory if I choose not to purchase a lesson package for my permit driver?
This lesson encompasses critical maneuvering skills that can, when not performed correctly on the exam, be assessed for excessive faults (points) and/or failures. Experience has proven that students who complete this lesson are much more likely to pass their driver's exam with high marks and carry their knowledge of vehicle control and safety into their real-world experiences.
What is your cancellation policy regarding scheduled lessons?
We understand that rescheduling might occasionally be necessary due to unforeseen events. We also want you to consider the fact that we are teaching your young driver immensely important life-long skills that will remain with them for the remainder of their driving days. Please weigh the need to cancel or reschedule lessons with the utmost thoughtfulness. Due to high demand for our services we require that you notify us at least 48 hours prior to your lesson time in order to reschedule without penalty. If you notify us less than 48 hours prior to lesson time the lesson will be considered forfeited and must be repurchased to reschedule a new date and time. We cannot guarantee rescheduling to a time and date that you request.
Are learner's permits from other states honored in Missouri?
No. Learner's permits are typically state-specific. If you have moved to Missouri, you must apply for and obtain a new Learner's (Instruction) Permit to legally drive here.
I have two new drivers in my household. Can they receive driving instruction at the same time?
No. Lessons are tailored to each student's learning ability. Although the content of each lesson is much the same, we know that new drivers greatly benefit from personalized one-on-one instruction, so only the instructor and one student will be in the car during a lesson.
Can my child who has a learning disability or is on the autism spectrum be taught to drive safely and pass the driver's test?
We have a very high success rate for students with high-functioning autism and/or learning disabilities who have graduated from our driving course. Some students benefit from additional lessons tailored to their learning style in order to bring them up to safe driving standards and to be able to pass the driver's exam.
Do you conduct lessons in inclement weather?
We can drive in many different types of weather and road conditions with most students, however, the instructor will make the final determination of "go" or "no-go" for a lesson after assessing current weather and road conditions. Additionally, lessons in-progress may be shortened due to imminent or approaching severe weather.
Whose vehicle will be used for lessons, yours or mine?
We will use your vehicle. Ideally, the vehicle should be the one that the student will use for their driving test and/or that they are most familiar with.
NOTE: We require that your vehicle be in excellent working condition with no maintenance issues, be properly licensed, and it should contain enough fuel for a 2-hour driving lesson. Failure to provide a properly maintained vehicle for the lesson may result in a forfeiture of the lesson.
